The CCMCM has built up a reputation for putting on some of the most experimental and popular (two words which rarely go together) “Art Music” concerts in Limerick. In addition to the well attended end of year performance of student works, the centre works closely with the local promoter and artist Robin Parmar to present the Soundings series of performances. With artists such as Trevor Wishart, KK Null, The Necks, Wade Mathews to name just a few and a sound system of 5 Genelec 1037C and up to 16 additional speakers these concerts demonstrate the extraordinary possibilities achievable in the area of music technology.
