Postgraduate students have exclusive access to a lab of 15 macintosh computers specifically equiped with software and hardware related to the area of music technology. The software installed on these machines is directly related to the content of the MA/MSc program and is used extensively to teach students music composition, sound synthesis, midi and recording techniques, and computer programming. The most used of these softwares is Logic Pro 8, Max/MSP, Pd, Peak Pro and Sibelius among others. A quadraphonic sound system is also installed in this lab.
